First go... Did I make the team?

So I've gone through and had a go completely off my own back at creating a very short story using just balls! I had a lot of fun really, it helped me get use to the animation graph editor in Maya.

I know it will need improving! For now though I am going to give it my own...

First Animation Project

I've been looking in to getting the fundamentals of 3D animation pretty much nailed and so I bought the tutorial from Gnomon Workshop "Intro to Key Frame animation". It's really good and anyone wanting to start up 3D Animation I recommend that's one of the first things you watch!

So once I watched the tutorial and had a go, I was told to go off and have a go and make up a story using just a ball. Sounded easy right?

I went off and found out I needed to storyboard up a scene. So I did just that so I knew exactly what was going to happen when and for how long. Basics... right? Here are my storyboards below that I made up, hopefully you get them.

The Beginning!

Hello all that read this, which at the minute is not many but hopefully that will change!

I've always loved animation whether its 2D or 3D and have had a little passion inside me to one day have a go. So I thought why not?!

Here it is! My animation blog which should track my progress of learning the art of animation through using tutorials and books... well, anything I can get my hands on! As this is a side project, it won't be updated as frequently as I like but its a start. Who knows, it might grow in to a major project if I am any good!

For now though, it would be great if you could subscribe and just peek in every now and then!
